The civil society, stakeholders and Mediterranean organizations gathered at the Forum of the Mediterranean Worlds in Marseille are strongly willing to work closely with the decision-makers in implementing concrete solutions to protect 100% of Posidonia by 2030.
The MPN is looking forward for the “Mediterranean Sea in 2030” Workshop One Ocean Summit.
The Mediterranean Posidonia Network suggests some concrete solutions for: knowledge, conservation, prevention from land-based pollution, raising awareness and financing solutions for innovation.
These concrete measures will contribute to the implementation of the ‘Mediterranean Action Plan for the conservation of marine vegetation’ of the Barcelona Convention and to the EU Biodiversity Strategy and relative Directives.
Follow the One Ocean Summit which will be held in Brest, Franvce, from 9th to 11th February 2022: https://oneoceansummit.fr/en
